The Writer's Wife
My lovely and gracious wife, Esther, has written about the travails of living with a writer on her clever blog, Culture Shock, which explores the meaning and purpose of culture. She ends her commentary with a quote that I gave her some time ago:
"What no wife of a writer can understand is that a writer is working when he's staring out the window." - Burton Rascoe.
No wife but mine, apparently.
